Holy City High Tea
In August, when it’s 100 degrees and 100% humidity in Charleston, all you crave is a long, tall cool one. Here’s a Charleston-inspired cocktail we’re calling “Holy City High Tea.” Perfect for late afternoon sipping in the light breeze of a Charleston Single House.
- 1.5 oz Scotch (we like Glenlivet)
- 1.5 oz Vodka (we like High Wire Hometown Vodka)
- 3 oz brewed Oliver Pluff Jasmine Tea
- 1.5 oz Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. Sweet Tea Syrup
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- lemon zest
Brew tea. To cool, set in freezer for 5-10 minutes while preparing other ingredients.
To the base of a chilled cocktail shaker add ice, scotch, vodka, jasmine tea, juice of 1/2 lemon, lemon zest, and sweet tea syrup. Shake 25-30 times and strain into a vintage iced tea glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel. Bon Appétit!
