We were so incredibly honored to support our dear friends Kate Robertson and George Stephenson for their June 2017 wedding. Altogether, the project included 145 custom wedding welcome gift boxes, 28 hand sewn dinner napkins with custom pattern (which were placed at the head table during the reception at The Commonwealth Club), a dozen hand sewn cocktail napkins with custom pattern, and a pair of custom cufflinks for the groom. We also provided ribbon for church programs.

Kate commissioned artist Inslee Fariss to develop watercolor florals for the invitation suite. Ginny Rogan was commissioned for calligraphy. Leveraging Inslee’s and Ginny’s designs, we developed two repeat patterns, two custom monograms and two custom stamps for the project.

Every single detail of all 2,320 components for the wedding welcomes were custom, including the pattern for the tissue-wrapped wine cans. Each can was meticulously tied on either end with imported Italian ribbon. Kate, who is a very talented personal chef, wanted to make mini blueberry jams for guests and serve them with Ukrop’s mini lemon poppy seed muffins. We helped Kate source all of the packaging elements for the goodies, and worked with Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods to order 580 mini muffins, which were all custom packaged to match the jams. Mini muslin bags, which were stamped with a custom “spread the love” message, and mini bamboo spoons were sourced to thoughtfully present the jam.

All boxes were hand delivered to Richmond-area hotels for wedding guests.
