We are in prime watermelon season, and there is no better treat for happy hour this month than a watermelon gin fizz. It doesn’t take a lot of work to get this right, and the combination of the watermelon and egg white is a true creamy treat for the taste buds.



  • 1 egg white
  • 3 balls watermelon
  • 1.5 oz of your favorite gin
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • a pinch of powdered sugar



Freeze cocktail shaker for a few minutes. After you remove from freezer, place egg white in the bottom of the shaker. Add ice, then remaining ingredients (squeeze watermelon balls as you add them to the shaker). Double shake (50-60 times) and strain into a vintage cocktail glass. Bon appetite!
