Café Au Lait Bowl
As with most trends, it was the French who made the addition of milk to coffee fashionable. We asked our ceramicist friend Sara Falzone to experiment with creating some pretty au lait bowls and we are absolutely in love with the results. They are light and drippy pink, perfect for coffee in the morning, ice cream, or a cold salad in the afternoon.
Please note: All bowls are one of a kind and vary in size and shape, but generally hold 8-10 oz.
Richmond, Virginia resident Sara Falzone fell in love with clay on accident. She stumbled upon it while searching for a therapeutic outlet in college. Through experiments in repetitive patterns, form and color she tests her patience and forces herself to abandon her perfectionist tendencies. Her work is an extension of herself with self-growth being the desired outcome. Though her medium is clay, she doesn’t consider herself a potter or ceramicist. “I’m just me but with clay,” she says.
